Delete your Ledja account

Ledja, by RK Technologies LLP (R-TECK)

The owner of a shop can ask us to delete the shop's Ledja account and all its records. We call the owner's registered phone number to confirm it's really them, then delete everything within 30 days.

How to ask

In the app (owners): open More → Account & data → Delete my business account and send the request.

Without the app: send a WhatsApp message to +256 762 117727 with:

the words "Delete my Ledja account",
your shop's name, and
the phone number you log in with.

Staff who only use a PIN don't have their own account: ask the shop owner to remove you under More → Staff.

What gets deleted

The shop's account and everyone's logins for it, and all its records: items, prices and costs, sales and receipts, stock movements, customers and suppliers, payments, expenses, cash-ups and receipt photos.

What is kept, and for how long

Records are deleted within 30 days of confirming the request. Our daily backups that still contain them expire within a further 30 days. We keep a short note that the deletion was requested and done, and anything the law requires us to keep.

Before deleting, download your records under More → Account & data: you may need them for tax. Deletion can't be undone.
